I am playing a show. It is not a dance show. I will sing songs that have been written over the last 3 years, accompanied by piano and guitar. I love the maximalist and immersive experience of a club show, but the last year has been more introverted. I have found great solace in playing acoustic guitar and piano and singing. It feels right to perform in this way now. I hope that this gentle and emotive performance can be comforting and nourishing: a small reprieve from the anxiety of the past year. Or something like that.
