A FESTIVAL OF OPERA AND CHAMBER MUSIC AT GLORIOUS JIMBOUR HOUSE

Jimbour House  will come to life again this May with a dizzying array of some of Queensland's most sought-after performers. Opera at Jimbour will feature a star-studded lineup of internationally renowned chamber instrumentalists from Ensemble Q and Australia's foremost performers from Opera Queensland, as well as a 26-piece orchestra from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

This year, we will return to the famed estate with an extended offering of events on the grounds across a huge three-day program. Including breathtaking Gala events on the Eastern Lawn, exquisite chamber music in the old plane Hangar, intimate recitals inside the opulent Drawing Room, and exclusive tours through the halls of the historic Jimbour House. 

Guests can savour the local produce, browse crafts by local artisans and sample bubbly beverages at the Jimbour markets. Make a weekend of it, by camping on the grounds and enjoying delicious offerings from regional  providores on site - or perhaps splurge on the Jimbour House Long Lunch in the Courtyard!
