The Pilbara’s Premier Music Festival is back for 2019! This August, the North West Festival kicks off in Port Hedland on Saturday 24 August and Sunday 25 August, bringing some of the biggest acts in the music biz to the Civic Centre Gardens in the heart of Hedland.

North West Festival

We’re excited to announce that ARIA Award winning artist Amy Shark will be 2019’s headlining act at the 18+ Saturday Festival. As the break out Australian star of the last few years, Amy’s powerful vocals and multi-platinum selling records will light up this year’s stage.

The Saturday Festival will also feature rapper and 2019 Young Australian of the Year Baker Boy, The Potbelleez, Redhook and a diverse selection of local talent. An infusion of electro-pop, pop rock and organic rap comes together for an unmissable line up not to be missed!

Baker Boy is well known in Hedland, having compounded his performance career with a passion for youth outreach in the community. Baker Boy performs both in English and his traditional Yolnu Mathu language from Arnhem Land, reflecting his Indigenous identity.

The Potbelleez are one of Australia’s best-selling electro-house bands, credited with hits such as Don’t Hold Back and From the Music.

Redhook, self-described “screaming rap rock electro pop mutants”, bring high energy musicality to the stage.

North West Sundowner

The picturesque Civic Centre Gardens also plays host to Sunday’s Sundowner, featuring Ash Grunwald, Pierce Brothers plus local talent.

Ash brings award winning blues to the scene, with the Pierce Brothers bringing their unique blend of folk rock.

The Sunday event is perfect for all ages, giving you the chance to enjoy a high calibre of engaging entertainment, performances and tasty food in family friendly surroundings.

With the Pilbara sunset illuminating the grounds, parents will love the music line up with plenty of fun filled activities for the kids to enjoy.

Both days are tipped to sell out, so secure your tickets before they’re gone!
