BILLY DAVIS & THE GOOD LORDS

This summer, Chicago rapper NONAME will land in Australia for three anticipated debut headline dates, alongside already announced Fairgrounds and Meredith Music Festival appearances.

Hailed by The FADER and Rolling Stone as one of the most important new artists of her generation,

Noname (aka Fatimah Warner) first appeared as a guest on Chance The Rapper's breakthrough mixtapes, with stunning features on both Acid Rap and Coloring Book. She released her debut mixtape Telefone as a free download last July, blurring the lines of spoken word poetry and rap and gaining critical acclaim from the likes of New York Magazine, Pitchfork and Dazed & Confused.

"Inspiring and gripping" - Pitchfork

"It's some of the year's most thought-provoking hip-hop" - Rolling Stone

"One of 2016's strongest releases and the best kind of debut." - New York Magazine

"Noname's modest, intricate mixtape describes her coming of age experiences with such sweet reverie it makes you nostalgic for a childhood you never actually had." - 4 stars, The Guardian

The bulk of production on Telefone was handled by Cam O'bi and Saba, and features vocal contributions from Saba, Raury, theMIND, Smino, Phoelix, Ravyn Lenae, Xavier O'mar, Eryn Allen Kane, Akenya, Cam and Joseph Chilliams.

Noname had her first interactions with the art of the spoken word in high school and began attending open mic's across Chicago. She met peers Chance The Rapper and Mick Jenkins through her interest in poetry, along with many other artists who inspired her to further her craft.

She has supported the likes of Lauryn Hill on sold out Chicago, Detroit and Minnesota shows, and was earlier this year touted as "life-affirming" by MTV on her sold out North American headline dates.
