The Beautiful Losers are showcasing an original musical tour-de-force that perfectly integrates with Emily Dickinson’s poetry. With Nikki Jones reciting Dickinson’s moving and emotionally penetrating words, the Beautiful Losers have managed to create a unique and haunting album. The band’s live show will immediately capture your attention with a display of musical and vocal virtuosity.

Nikki Jones is a performer, musician, musical director, arranger, composer and writer. She was the drummer in early 90’s indie band The Brautigans. As one half of comedy, cabaret duo Novak ‘n Goode she performed at the Hong Kong Fringe Festival ’96 and ’97, Critic’s Choice at Adelaide Fringe Festival ‘96, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, ’98, 2005 Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival in the USA, plus tours to Singapore, Sydney, the UK, and mine sites in regional Australia. Novak ‘n Goode also composed and performed as the Siamese Twins in Melissa Cantwell’s After the Fair in 2002. 

Since 2005 Nikki has been one half of electronica duo Late Night Shopping who were composers, arrangers and musical directors for WAYTCo’s Another Twin in 2013 and Away in 2017, and composed the music and soundscape for James Berlyn’s performance piece Troll, and I Know You’re There for PIAF 2016.
