This year may mark the first time that Neil and Liam Finn have played in the stunning surrounds of Twilight at Taronga, but with their musical pedigree they need little introduction.

Of Liam Finn, The Guardian has said, "Finn writes irresistible songs that hum with riotous melodic invention" and of Neil Finn, The Australian has said, "A consummate performer and songwriter".

Neil Finn is one of the world's greatest songwriting treasures - it's no wonder we are so quick to denounce his Kiwi-dom and call him our own. Ever on the cusp of creative innovation, Finn's musical genes run deep into the family line. Following the release of his latest album, co-produced with his son Liam and recorded live in front of an online audience, Finn's latest incarnation is a full musical collaboration with Liam.

Sublime, divine, wondrous, these are craftsmen to behold.

Of the forthcoming show Neil said, "Liam and I have been dreaming up this record for the last 2 years. We have a wonderful band assembled to bring it to the stage and are casting the net wide to bring up some old treasures for the setlist."

We look forward to welcoming Neil and Liam Finn to their first ever Twilight at Taronga show!

Opening the Neil and Liam Finn shows on the lawns of the intimate natural amphitheatre within Taronga Zoo on all three nights - February 10, 11 and 18 - is folk-indie singer and guitarist Alex the Astronaut who recently released her second EP See You Soon. The See You Soon EP continues the journey of Alex the Astronaut's signature stream-of-consciousness lyrics, and is led by the first single 'Not Worth Hiding' - a beautifully pure insight into growing up.
