Moussa Diakite Trio

Influential guitarist Moussa Diakite was part of the golden era of Malian
music in the 1970s and '80s, performing with some of Africa's best;
including Salif Keita, Oumou Sangare, Toumani Diabat and the Super Rail
Band de Bamako.

Since migrating to Australia, he has stamped his mark on the local scene
and together with Philippe Lincy (Percussion) and Len Samperi (Bass),

The Moussa Diakit Trio fuse traditional West African styles with Cuban,
blues and jazz into a unique "Afro-groove".

Performing tracks from their highly acclaimed album "Doncomodja" and
following stand out performances at last year's Mullum Music Festival and
this year's WOMADelaide, this is an intimate and dynamic show that is
mesmerizing, sophisticated, irresistible on the dance floor and not to be
missed.
