Racing SA COVID Vaccination Requirements

Racing SA has introduced COVID-19 vaccination requirements for all patrons and industry participants wishing to access a Thoroughbred racing venue, as of 20 January 2022.

The requirement means anyone aged 16 and over intending to enter any South Australian Thoroughbred racing venue for any purpose from 20 January 2022 will need to demonstrate that they have had two doses of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved vaccine. Proof of double vaccination will be required prior to entry from 20 January 2022.

COVID-19 digital certificates or immunisation history statements may be checked at venue entry points, or by COVID marshals on site during spot checks.

Exemptions

Where an official SA Health medical exemption is in place, proof of a negative COVID test result for the 72-hour period prior to seeking entry and full exemption details will need to be provided to the venue.
