Each song feels like it was written for the woman exactly like me; ever-frustrated, introspective, sensitive, cerebral, quirky and probably a little over-dramatic.”- Montana Sharp – Music Feed’s ‘Love Letter to a Record’

The Brunswick Ballroom presents, ‘Montana and Morissette’ – a journey into the influence of Alanis’ brave and brazen music on future female songwriters. With lush cinematic accompaniment and powerhouse vocals, Montana Sharp transforms the iconic hits of Alanis Morissette with intersperses of her own originals inspired by the revolutionary songstress of the 90s.

About Montana Sharp:

True to her name, the vibrant and quick-witted Montana Sharp has been serving up a delicious mix of classic rock and cinematic orchestral original music. Marrying her classical piano background with soaring powerhouse vocals, her highly anticipated upcoming EP ‘Bloodmoon’ is set to electrify and mystify all major music platforms in early 2022.

Montana's regal and romantic original music is regularly enjoyed at local Melbourne venues such as the Workers Club, Gasometer and the Evelyn. Her debut single release 'Greenhouse' (2020) garnered impressive critical reception from the likes of Katie Noonan, Kate Miller-Heidke, Kate Cebrano, and non-Kates too of course!
