Featuring members of The Lucksmiths and Smallgoods, Monnone Alone return to Sydney for a Sunday arvo soirée at the PBC with Victoria and Table Band.

Monnone Alone drop a Sydney save-the-date for an afternoon of melodic merriment and other misdemeanours at the PBC – Sunday, October 30 with local hitmakers Victoria and coastal newcomers Table Band.

Although the name may suggest otherwise, Monnone Alone are a bona fide pop group based around the songwriting of Mark Monnone (ex-Lucksmiths) and featuring members of A-grade pop tinkerers Architecture in Helsinki, Mid-State Orange and Aleks & the Ramps. That’s almost as bona fide as it gets.

Having drawn comparisons to Modern Lovers, Teenage Fanclub and The Lemonheads, Monnone Alone will render selections from their third album Stay Foggy along with other hits and near-misses from their jangly and fuzzed-out back catalogue via Lost And Lonesome records.

Also in the 'supergroup' category, Victoria (who hail from NSW!) feature members of Smudge, Songs, Youth Group and The Vines and are packing Flying Nun-esque earworms aplenty as they fashion fresh music for release on Wayne Connolly's Scenic Drive label.

Rounding out the triangular line-up are nascent Thirroul drifters Table Band whose evolving membership has already included folks from Blue Divers, Sachet and The Cannanes.
