DOORS 6.30PM // KITCHEN OPEN // SHOW STARTS 7.30PM
Tasmanian songwriter Monique Brumby is kicking off the Lutruwita winter to play one unique Retrospective show in Melbourne. Featuring new songs, 'Blue Sky High' and 'Heart of Stone', along with 90’s favourites, 'Fool For You', 'As Sweet As You Are' and 'The Change in Me'.
Stories of local roundabouts and misadventure, 'Retrospective' is a celebration of musical collaboration and friendship. Together with long-time rhythm section Maryanne Window and Shamus Goble, Monique and band will play a selection of songs from across her career. Monique won 2 ARIA Awards with her first album Thylacine, recorded in Melbourne in 1995. This show is guaranteed to get you into that nostalgic mood for the 90s. Monique and band will give you plenty of opportunity to indulge before bringing you into the now with her latest work.
Special guests are Opelousas band, drummer Toby Lang, guitarists Don Farrell, Tom Rouch and Shannon Bourne with Hannah May, Petra Salsjo and 'Thylacine' album producer, David Bridie on keys.
