Millar Jukes & The Muscle / Fulton Street (SOLD OUT)
Soul/Blues fans, get ready! Millar Jukes & The Muscle and Fulton Street team up this November 5th to deliver an electrifying show to remember at The Night Cat. Both acts have many reasons to celebrate with Millar Jukes having recently released his live EP ‘The Headstone Sessions’ and Fulton Street with their latest single ‘Weight of the World.’ Mostly, these volcanic live acts are excited to bring audiences back to Melbourne’s iconic music scene, which has been sorely missed over the last year. Then to keep the tunes spinning all night, Stoic Records’ Backseat DJs will take the Night Cat floor.
We acknowledge that this event will be held on Wurundjeri land of the Kulin Nation and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
Millar Jukes & The Muscle
He might have grown up in Scotland and live in Australia, but it’s a distinctly soulful, bluesy voice that comes out of Millar Jukes. The Melbourne-based artist has just released his debut album – an infectious collection of groove-laden tracks, designed to make you get up and dance. Acknowledging the Americana stylings, Jukes has supported the likes of Ruby Boots, Stonefield and Sal Kimber. Now he’s found a sharper suit that fits, completed by his 7-piece soul band The Muscle who have been crafting a unique blend of soul, indie rock and roots since 2018 - and the result is electrifying!
