The legendary “ Mike Rudd” brings us an exciting new project in his forever creative and progressive career. Something that came about when Noel Kennedy, a Composer/Arranger and Conductor did a string arrangement of one of Mike’s songs: “I Can Do Anything”, and sent it to Mike; this was 2019 ;Mike and his lovely partner adored what Noel had done, and hence a relationship arose with a wonderful musical adventure to follow. This will be a truly magical event, with Mike, Noel and a String Quintet featuring some of Melbourne’s finest Classical musicians. We bring you “Mike Rudd’s Indelible String Band”.

"Early in 2019 I received the first mp3 from Noel Kennedy. It was a string arrangement of Ariel’s ‘70s single I Can Do Anything and it wasn’t just a standard version of the song with strings tacked on. I was impressed and intrigued.  Since then, Noel and I have been working virtually on Noel’s selection of my songs from the Spectrum, Murtceps and Ariel eras.  Now we have assembled “Mike Rudd’s Indelible String Band” featuring a string quintet comprising of some of Melbourne’s finest classical players to realise Noel’s vision. We’re looking forward to sharing this special event with you at The Brunswick Ballroom."  - Mike Rudd

The Brunswick Artists' Bar and Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the Victorian State Government vaccination mandate. Therefore, as outlined in the Victorian Roadmap, only patrons, staff and artists who are double vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to enter the venue.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App with a valid Vaccination certificate as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
- Hand sanitiser dispensers
- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
