In this debut solo performance by one of South Australia’s most acclaimed voices, Michelle Pearson will be backed by a cookin’ quartet of Adelaide’s most eligible gentlemen and an orchestra hand-picked and directed by the award-winning Peter Johns. A sultry suite of cabaret, jazz and blues, musical theatre and Michelle’s unique take on Australian rock.

Michelle Pearson is a singer, songwriter, recording artist and performer and has been singing and studying voice since she was 9. She has performed in amateur and professional musical theatre productions as well as corporate and private functions and workshop style concerts.

Early on, Michelle was known for fronting cover bands and original ensembles as well as lead roles in Les Miserables, Blues in the Night, Shoah, Dracula Triumphant and Eurobeat. Most recently she received rave reviews for her performance as Ellen in Miss Saigon and has been performing as a solo artist for large events as well as an array of fringe and cabaret shows.

Michelle was part of the 2011 Adelaide Fringe and was featured in shows, Spankin New and Changing the Pace. She also produced and presented 'Songs that make you go MMM' for the 2011 Cabaret Fringe as well as The Blues Hour in the 2012 Adelaide Fringe Festival and was part of the sell-out production 'The Seven Deadly Sings' in the 2012 Cabaret Fringe.

Michelle will launch her debut solo cabaret/concert, Michelle and the Gentlemen's Club in the 2013 Adelaide Fringe.
