Whilst the landscape of the music industry as it stands today is increasingly diverse, the question arises, how does an artist stand out it in this unpredictable climate? Whilst a good song is vital, there is a certain craft that allows for success. For ages this craft has been carried out behind the scenes by managers, altered and perfected for each act, to ensure that their artist will stand out in a sea of music.  

 In this workshop, the realities of artist and self management will be laid out for discussion from the perspective of the artist, along with the myriad of industry professionals involved in managing some of the best acts in Australia.
