Mmmmm MEAT. It all started at the back end of 2016 in Melbourne, AUS as a solo project by Mitch Casino to stray away from his more mellow music outputs. MEAT initially laid down two fully cranked EPs as an online digital release. With this new EP "AN ACQUIRED TASTE” we hear Mitch’s classic licks but with a full backing band (members from MESA COSA, BRAD POT, SLUSH) and full on power. 

The tracks display a wide spread of Heavy 70s riffs inspired by bands like SABBATH or NECROMANDUS and more modern garage thunder like FUZZ or GOGGS. 

Don’t let that pin your mind down because MEAT are in their own tray & don’t you dare forget that! There is some serious guitar work in this beast that would make any wizard melt to the ground and not to mention drum fills that would send the strongest minds into a frenzied seizure.
