ANNOUNCES SUMMER AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE SHOWS

- One man juggernaut Max Frost will bring his new found sound to Australia in January and February 2020 with headline shows in Brisbane and Sydney

-Max Frost is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Austin, Texas

-Frost’s latest album Gold Rush features smash hit ‘Good Morning’, an upbeat, uplifting tune that has since become the soundtrack for both Network Ten and Google promotions.

Frontier Touring
is excited to announce that singer and multi-instrumentalist Max Frost will play headline shows at Brisbane’s The Brightside on Wednesday 29 January and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Friday 31 January.

27-year-old Max Frost was born and raised in Austin, Texas, where he took to music at a young age, playing the drums from age four and guitar from age eight. One year into university, Frost was so consumed with writing and recording his own blend of R&B, hip-hop and pop music that he decided to leave school to pursue his career in music.

Max has come a long way since his debut in 2013 with the single ‘White Lies’ that landed the #42 spot in that year’s triple j Hottest 100, which was followed by 2016’s genre-blending hit ‘Adderall’ that placed him firmly on the map. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2017, Frost has reinvented himself as an artist, breaking through self-imposed boundaries and becoming completely honest with himself and his music.

From this his 2018 debut album Gold Rush was born. The album features smash hit ‘Good Morning’, an upbeat, uplifting tune that has since become the soundtrack for both Network Ten and Google promotions. Debuting his new sound and relatable lyrics without the self-imposed pressure to conform to a specific genre or style, Max says of his process and the album:

“I stopped trying to control how cool my music came across and just be myself,” he says. “I had to let it be open and direct and in-your-face.”

Max has had the opportunity to master his live performances on tour with big names such as Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, Fitz and the Tantrums and Gary Clark Jr. His shows are high energy and infectious as he constantly moves around the stage playing various instruments. The result is an impressive and authentic one-man-show.

Don’t miss Max’s electric headline shows in Brisbane and Sydney this January!
