Maubere Timor is an ensemble of Indigenous Timorese veterans who spread their love of music through sharing real stories and songs of their heroic history as freedom fighters for their nation’s Independence. In doing so, they are keeping the memory of the resistance movement alive for future generations. 

Embarking on their first Australian tour, taking in Womadelaide 2020, catch Maubere Timor in an intimate show where storytelling and sharing of culture lures you in with sounds encapsulating the island vibes of an ancient melodic tradition, along with modern influences that take the listener on a journey like no other.
