MARY! is looking to ‘hug many’ and break all of 2022’s resolutions at her inaugural NYD TEA dance at the Brunswick Ballroom! 

It’ll be a New Year’s Gay as we invite you to dance- and mince - away the of the last torrid 12 months in the iconic Brunswick Ballroom. DJ’s Tanzer, Mz Rizk, Butch le Butch, the Sugar Plump Fairy andMr Weirwill guide you in a not-terribly-civilised manner from late arvo sunshine into the sparkling stars, all with a cup of MARY’s special blend of naughty.

MARY! is proudly a gay-ass disco and we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all LGBTIQ folks and their lovely pals.Over many dancefloors we have cultivated a vibe of shameless good times, so pack the good amyl and leave the judgement at home.  We have a strict 'no dickhead' policy and our doorbitches keep a close eye on the shenanigans. Should you need a hand, please ask.  Dancefloor divas most encouraged but do make sure you consider the space of those around you. MARY! looks forward to welcoming you all into her loving arms to get lost in the music and get LOOSE! xxx

The Brunswick Artists' Bar and Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the Victorian State Government vaccination mandate. Therefore, as outlined in the Victorian Roadmap, only patrons, staff and artists who are double vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to enter the venue.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App with a valid Vaccination certificate as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
- Hand sanitiser dispensers
- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
