Martin Amini is a stand-up comic based in Los Angeles, California with roots that trace back to Silver Spring, Maryland. Martin draws inspiration for his comedy from his Iranian father and Bolivian mother, delivering a one-of-a-kind blend of humor that resonates with audiences far and wide. 

Martin’s debut 1 hour stand-up special, I’m Transcending, premiered on YouTube on February 13th. In the special, Martin promises an intimate and hilarious exploration of his upbringing providing a comedic lens into the challenges and triumphs of navigating life with dual cultural influences.

In addition to his stand-up, Martin is the founder of D.C. comedy club, Room 808, and the Overachievers Comedy Show, a monthly comedy showcase hosted by him which features beloved comedians from a variety of platforms and networks. He is currently on the road on his “Martin Had a Dream” world tour which spans across 40 cities and 3 continents.
