The Mark VI Ensemble is an 8 piece band of professional musicians who formed duuring Covid and features unique musical arrangements by Mark Lord.
Hear the songs you know with a distinct style reminiscent of the West Coast Sound. Tony Creek is a vocalist with the style of the great Mel Torme'.
Supported by Tim Benson on trumpet, Mark Lord on Tenor Sax, Geoff Dickie on Baritone Sax, the jazz tones of Adrian Rodden on Guitar, Gordon Sneddon on digital Hamond Organ and father and son combination of drums and bass with the Geoff Goulds.
This group was invited to appear in the inaugural Western Plains Jazz Festival which was held in May of this year and appears on a regular basis in the Merimbula and Blackheath Jazz Festivals.
The Mark VI Ensemble was formed by Mark Lord from the most talented musicians from all areas. Hailing from Canberra, The Illawarra and all over Sydney, these musicians come together to form this special sound.
