MANIA LOWE - Red Giant
w/ special guests Arrian + Ryan Marshall
Mania Lowe is an experimental songwriter, producer, rapper and singer who creates alternative pop, space trap, electronic R&B/Hip-hop with grunge, jazz and blues influences.
Concept driven with an architectural background, Mania's creative process is intentional, precise and thorough. From overall soundscape down to production and lyric details, they aim to ensure every component of each song reflects its concept.
Their emotionally dramatic condition combined with science-fiction, astrology and architecture influences converts each piece into a story.
Mania's work derives from emotive and critical introspection which is then developed into dramatised non-fictional scenarios.
Among this work includes their debut mixtape Red Giant released in May 2019 which they will be performing live at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory Gallery Bar on Thursday the 1st of August with supporting acts from electronic producer, Arrian and Sydney DJ, Ryan Marshall.
Red Giant by Mania Lowe is an experimental space pop/hip hop project sonically depicting, through the metaphor of a Red Giant, an assortment of intense romantic pursuits that appeared to be healthy but in hindsight were toxic. The listener is to be engrossed in emotion and transported into an imaginative reality. Its experimentation lies in its immersive and unique sound and its logistics to drift from traditional song structures and innovate new arrangements to pioneer catchy, pop songs in a new light.
Mania Lowe's debut record, Red Giant is now available in stores and on all streaming platforms.
