DOORS OPEN 7PM // ROCK ACTION STARTS 8PM

On Friday 15th November four fine dreamy rock, blues and power pop bands will come together at the Spotted Mallard for a real cool party time.

Skybelly is the project of songwriter, performer, producer, provocateur Sara Nelson. The forthcoming album A Space Tramp Odyssey emerged when a fictional character Judy Raminero came knocking on Sara's door.  She’d come from the future to speak of her extraordinary escapades across the universe, about her tangled love life, the war on Earth, brushes with oracles and dealings with ambrosia. Half-dream-pop, half-spoken-word space opera.

Second up is the brand new band  for Jules McKenzie from Money for Rope called Heat Death making their live stage debut - expect some rocking soul and this trio features two drummers.

Pam Salmon is fronted by one of the greatest rock stage performers Jack Davies (Bitter Sweet Kicks/Draught Dodgers). Pam Salmon - https://www.facebook.com/pamsalmonband/
ol' pam, your eternal neighbour... your style purveyor... your rock and roll saviour...

Playing last to round out a perfect night of rock is six piece Major Bummer who blend power pop, rock and soul to create some great tunes. The band play down their collective experience in some of Melbourne's most loved bands over the last 15 years who came together through a love for bands such as Pavement, The Replacements and Wilco.
