Machine Age has warped styles and sounds in a direction that has surprised and excited audiences for years, but 2019 see's that signature sound honed to a precision in new singleDust; a reflection on the shallow moments in life that are overshadowed next to real, life changing experiences.

To celebrate the release of Dust, Machine Age will hit the road in April on a tour that will mark the beginning of a great march towards debut album 'Point Of Departure' set for release later this year.

Machine Age is striking back at social media, against it's false depictions of likes, love and the misunderstanding of what real connections are between people.

"Our latest track Dust is an upbeat ode to the bleak new world we live in. How social media with all its promise of Likes, love and connection really doesn't mean anything when you've lost a loved one or are doing it tough in the real world," said Adrian Mauro.

Having felt the loss of a loved one at the age of 15 with the passing of his brother, Adrian held onto their connection to him through music.

"When I was fifteen my older brother passed away from a long battle with leukemia. I inherited his guitar, his keyboard and his record collection. In the years that followed I learnt to record and play his instruments," said Mauro.

After spending years practicing, sharpening his skills and fighting against the uncertainty of success, the moniker Machine Age was created.

"I spent time honing my skills on other people's projects and after years of battling crippling self doubt I finally decided to release music under the moniker Machine Age. I teamed up with with drummer Dylan Stewart and we've toured the country supporting the likes of The Jungle Giants, Holy Holy, #1 Dads, Ainslie Wills and others," said Mauro.

Dust comes as the first teasing taste from Machine Age's upcoming debut album 'Point of Departure' set for release later this year.
