Kansas City swing inspired by the early Count Basie bands and his mid-century small groups

SNAP, CRACKLE & BOP are celebrating their 30th Anniversary Year & having a reunion Gig at Lazy Bones on the 1st of October!

Snap, Crackle & Bop is Simon Ert (drums & vocals), Saul Richardson (guitar), Eric Dunan (trumpet), Josh Chee (vibraphone), and Zac Nisbet (bass). 

SCB was formed in the mid-1990s by Simon and Saul to play Kansas City swing inspired by the early Count Basie bands and his mid-century small groups. SCB was a busy band in Sydney through the Mid to late 90s and were regulars at Jazz Clubs and Festivals nationally and internationally. The band went into a hiatus in the early 2000s when Saul moved to London & Simon to Melbourne, but now Snap, Crackle and Bop is back, celebrating 30 swinging years.
