Luude comes down under

Australian electronic producer LUUDE has quickly risen to the forefront of the scene with his unique take on dance music - effortlessly crossing through genres to great effect. Continuing his upward trajectory in 2021, LUUDE recently released a dynamic debut EP “6AM” via Sweat It Out, fusing his forward-thinking electronic production with tasteful drum and bass elements and for only his first foray into Drum and Bass - the release has already seen support from gatekeepers within the genre such as BBC Radio 1’s Charlie Hedges, Mollie Collins at KISS FM, Pendulum, Fred V & Graffix and Hospital Records and received Triple J rotation with lead single Wanna Stay.

Also recognised as one half of the well-respected Australian duo, Choomba, who have been endorsed by tastemakers such as The Magician, Claude Von Stroke, Richie Hawtin, Claptone, Riva Starr, and Erick Morillo. Most recently the production powerhouse released ‘Say It feat. LP Giobbi & Blush’ko’, which had the heavy support of triple j and dance music icons, Martin Jensen and Benny Benassi!

LUUDE talks about refining his sound, “I always want to be making stuff that feels exciting - and I’ve been working on this next phase for LUUDE for a while, just trying to find the right elements, so while Choomba was doing it’s thing last year I’ve been really refining the LUUDE project and I’m excited to return to touring with this new direction, the shows and plans we have are really exciting.”

With only a handful of releases under his belt, LUUDE has scored over 30 million streams across his catalogue. Moreover, his singles have also caught the attention of tastemaker outlets Stoney Roads, Pilerats, DJ Times and This Song Is Sick. On the touring side, The Tasmanian born, Perth Raised Gold-Coast based artist quickly took hold of the local club circuit, becoming an in-demand name across Australia. From there, the local talent sold-out shows around Australia and New Zealand as well as peak time festival appearances across the country.
