Long term collaborators Grindin' and Behind the Front officially join forces to create Low Key Source, passionate in the pursuit of forward thinking Hip Hop and Soul music. Their primary focus is working with like-minded artists, providing a platform to showcase their material across multiple channels and platforms, offering additional management, booking, touring, consultation and events services.

The first signing is a label deal covering Australia & New Zealand for DJ House Shoes Street Corner Music which has seen releases from the likes of Denmark Vassey, Nottz, 14KT, Danny Brown, Tall Black Guy, Stro Elliot, DRUGS BEATS, plus many more.

Low Key Source will officially launch at Play Bar in Sydney on Friday 30th September featuring live and direct from LA DJ House Shoes, a promoter showcase from Mohi, along with an exclusive screening of the LA beat scene documentary "All Ears".

ALL EARS DOCUMENTARY

"All Ears" is a documentary focusing on the famous Beat scene of Los Angeles. The L.A. community behind Low End Theory is often cited as origin of a now worldwide movement, and All Ears offers an insight into the minds of some of the producers responsible for the thriving scene (dak, Ras G, Sacred, Kutmah, Dibia$e, House Shoes, DJ Nobody & many more). Looking at the network of record labels, collectives and events that have formed a united community that is continuing to grow and diversify by the day, the documentary also reflects upon the great impact of the scene's two most notable figures, Madlib and the late J Dilla.
