Lord Esme, Meremba, & Wyatt Moss-Wellington
Doors 6.30pm * Music starts at 7.00pm
What do you get when you mix a guitarist who loves space rock, a bass player who is into metal, a keys player and vocalist whose love of Brit-Pop is unmistakable, and a drummer who is a jazz cat? Lord Esme!
Wyatt Moss-Wellington is a progressive folk singer-songwriter. His albums include "The Kinder We" (2017), "Sanitary Apocalypse" (2014), "Gen Y Irony Stole My Heart" (2011), and "The Supermarket and the Turncoat" (2009). https://wyattmosswellington.bandcamp.com
Meremba (formerly Laura & Susie) combine two sisters' (Laura & Susie Bishop) musical worlds: piano songwriting ranging from the epic to the light-hearted with hints of Joanna Newsom, Regina Spektor and Tori Amos; gentle folk melodies on guitar influenced by great storytellers Joni Mitchell, Kate Rusby and Kate Bush. Accordion, piano, violin and guitar create a backdrop for their beautiful vocal harmonies.
