Loni Rae Thomson (Melb) releases the title track from her upcoming EP, Slowly.

Slowly is the title track from Loni Rae Thomson's upcoming debut EP (due out later this year). With its heartbeat drums, soaring vocals and a chorus you won’t be forgetting very quickly, you'll want to blast this one extra loud and dance not all that slowly.
 
Written at the beginning of a new relationship, Slowly is about taking one step at a time, even when all you want to do is dive head-first into a new romance. In a strangely ironic twist, this particular relationship fell apart just before the recording began in Berlin last year, so if Thomson's vocals pull particularly hard at your heart-strings that's probably why.
 
Loni Rae Thomson has a knack for transporting her audiences. According to Hhhhappy Magazine, her previous single 'On Your Own' “will draw you in and leave you hanging on each of Thomson’s words” and, in the words of Australian indie-folk darling Julia Jacklin, “make you wanna go back and kiss your high-school crush.”
