Following the critically acclaimed 2019 LP ‘Our Waverley Star’ Jack starts the run of his new releases from his 2021 upcoming LP ‘Gabriel’ - and this month’s release of the first track lifted from it - ‘The Hopeless Son’.

Joined on stage by guitarist Travis New and Tully Ryan on drums & percussion these are songs of beauty and tension, reflection and hope where there's no mistaking the existential threads and hard-won wisdoms of his lyrics, the brightness out of darkness. 

Within Nolan's music, mysterious and shimmering chords unite his sound with that of the Americana music scene - and his own affable jest that you might trace his roots back to a 'the Darlinghurst country sound'.

Elements of folk, country, rock 'n' roll and ambient atmospheres rise up into a 21st century music that is textured and sophisticated, blazed by Nolan's passion for intensely charged electric guitar work and finger-picked approaches to the acoustic guitar.
