'A 350-pound man with a beard wearing a dress always puts a smile on your face' Bob Mersereau, CBC News Apr 28 2017 ,

Les Hotesses d'Hilaire (translates as The Hosts of Humour), are touring to Australia in April and May presenting shows in the Eastern city hubs including performances at The Gum Ball festival in the Hunter Valley NSW and Wide Open Spaces festival in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.

Featuring energetic and enigmatic front man Serge Brideau the band are making their first ever journey "Down Under".

These crazy musical aliens have been showering audiences with their love-bomb of psychadelico-psychotronic music for over a decade taking in numerous European tours and showcasing continuously across the length and breadth of Canada.

In a jaw-dropping performance including two side-splitting acceptance speeches, the outrageous frontman left his mark on host city Saint John In New Brunswick recently when the band took out honours for Best Rock Band and Best Group Recording of the Year at the 2017 East Coast Music Awards gala in Canada.

A new album will be launched late spring and they are presently finishing work on a rock opera which will launch in November 2018.

Les Hotesses d'Hilaire are Serge Brideau (vocal, guitar and frontman), Mico Roy (guitars), Michel Vienneau (bass), Leandre Bourgeois (keys) and Maxence Cormier (drums),
