Having returned to playing live after a 3 year hiatus, Leadfinger released their 6th and best album to date ’Silver & Black’ earlier this year. Leadfinger formed in 2007 and their timeless song writing, inventive guitar work and heart-on-sleeve delivery has won them plenty of fans in Australia and Europe. They are a genuine rock’n’roll band with a unique brew of influences that stretch back through the 70’s & 80’s underground rock and punk eras, through the classic Stones and Dylan records of the 60’s, the blues and beyond. The new album ’SILVER & BLACK' is out on Vinyl/CD/Digital through Golden Robot Records (Sydney).

Melbourne based, she has toured the globe and recorded with musicians from the U.S.A, Japan, Europe and Australia, to great acclaim and instant fandom. Known for her mind warping, note bending dirty rock, she also switches tempo to deliver classic pop tunes with shades of light and dark in a rich sonic soundscape. Her latest album TOKYO is an international collaboration with legendary Radio Birdman guitarist Deniz Tek. PENNY IKINGER will be joined by her big band from Melbourne for this exclusive show.
