A two-time, singer-songwriter from Melbourne, KÖDA is capturing us with her infectious and impressive sound. Or it might be that rebellious strut into a hurricane of influences that she brings to her debut single 'Scissors'.

You may have seen her live over the years or maybe as the newest member and lead female vocalist of Melbourne's indie rock outfit, Tempus Sun. BUT today we are excited about something else. KÖDA is ready to unveil her first Single as a solo artist.

"It's about knowing exactly what you're capable of and finding a way around responsibilities. Essentially, it's about getting yourself out of situations you don't want to be in and can't be bothered dealing with". "I wrote the song when I was in a position where I had to answer to too many things that I couldn't be bothered dealing with."

Joining forces with producer and good friend, Sean Hutton, Scissors gives us personal chaos delivered with the warmth of soul vocals soaring over heavily rock-influenced music.
