Kingswood + The Money Go Round + Lakoda Burn
KINGSWOOD are a four-piece indie rock band from Melbourne Australia. KINGSWOOD had a hugely successful 2012 with 3 three singles released to critical acclaim. They won the coveted ‘Triple J Unearthed Splendour in the Grass’ competition which saw them open the Byron Bay festival on the main Supertop stage. They played over 100 shows throughout Australia and 5 invitation only events in Afghanistan for the Australian Defence Force. They were nominated for best new artist at the j awards and selected as one of triple j’s ‘Next Crop’ for 2013.
May 2013 sees KINGSWOOD release their 4th single 'Ohio' to critical acclaim along with their 'Change of Heart' EP Deluxe featuring 8 tracks, including their first 4 singles, remixes, an acoustic track and live favourites. A 25 show national tour with Oz rock legends Grinspoon in March / April introduced them to a significantly vast and growing audience as did a support slot with international heavyweights Aerosmith.
This is your last chance to see KINGSWOOD before they hop a plane to the US to record their eagerly anticipated debut album with legendary producer Vance Powell of Jack White fame.
