After a success-filled 2018 with the release of the album "Modern Revelations" and being fresh off playing Yours & Owls Festival, Wollongong's Kid Pharaoh returns home to end the year with a bang at Rad.

Early in the year, the unapologetic anthem "Jesus Looks Like Me" was a break-out that proved to be a testament to the unique voice the Egyptian-Australian rapper provides in Australian music. The Triple J endorsed single led to mass critical acclaim, with presenter Sandro Falce stating that "hands down, this is one of the best rap tracks to come out of the year so far".

The single was the first to come off the Triple J Hip Hop Show feature album "Modern Revelations", with the second single "Falling from the Sky" being added to such international Spotify editorial Hip Hop playlists as "Mellow Styles".

On stage, his energetic yet thoughtful live shows have led him to support American rapper Duckwrth this year at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory, as well as hometown shows supporting Adrian Eagle, Carmouflage Rose and being the only hometown rapper at the Yours & Owls Festival this year.

Previously supporting such national Hip Hop icons as Seth Sentry & Thundamentals in Wollongong, Kid Pharaoh's second headline show in his hometown is proving to be his biggest yet. After a year that has solidified him as a force to be reckoned with in Australian music, his final show of the year is not one to be missed.
