LIVE IN THE GERSHWIN ROOM // w/ special guest Georgia. In celebration of one of Melbourne’s most beloved venues, The Espy, Jungle announce re-opening show at the St Kilda stage to be their most intimate Victoria show to date.

DOORS 8.00PM // SHOWTIME TBC

In a celebration of one of Melbourne’s most iconic music venues, Jungle have today announced their most intimate Victorian show to date at St Kilda’s recently restored Hotel Esplanade, AKA The Espy.

It’s been a long time coming for Jungle fan’s who have not seen the British outfit grace Australian shores since they hit up Splendour in the Grass way back in 2014.

The eagerly anticipated Antipodean tour was announced in the wake of the follow up to their self titled Mercury Prize nominated debut record, which featured binge worthy tracks such as Busy Earnin’ and The Heat

Titled For Ever the new album describes the band’s Californian Dream and the reality check of actually living it – the feeling of being adrift on the West Coast compounded by the collapse of long-term relationships.

The silver lining for Josh “J” Lloyd-Watson and Tom “T” McFarland (the duo who dreamt up Jungle’s inimitable sound) is what they lost in love, they gained in music with future hits House In LA and Happy Man

For Ever is deeper, more intimate, occasionally melancholic, but still abundant with feel good beats from the gurus of neon soul.

With a strong synth game, powerful vocals and intimate hooks, tickets to Jungle’s Gershwin Room show are strictly limited.

Only tickets purchased from our official ticketing partner, Moshtix, are valid for this event. Tickets purchased through any other sources may not be valid and you run the risk of not be admitted into the show.
