Sydney Soul singer Josué, (pronouned hose-way) has been dubbed Sydney’s Prince of Soul. Fresh off releasing his very first EP ‘Bad News’ 6-tracks deep, Josué intricately infuses soul with hip hop on top of seamless beats complimented with Josué’s smooth voice. With the support of his band The SoulBenders, ‘Bad News’ carries out Josué’s trademark get-up-on-your-feet tracks guaranteed to soothe the soul. It also features Annelise Johnson and Billy Green. Imagine D’Angelo, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars made a baby, Josué is the result of it. The EP includes two of his previous releases ‘Summer Time’ and ‘What’s On Your Mind’. ‘What’s on your mind’ was premiered originally on ‘Soul Bounce,’ and is now sitting pretty with 2k plays under its belt.

His first official release ‘Summer Time’ has clocked up over 3k plays, with blogs across the globe vibing to his music including Poland, France, Sweden and Japan making ‘Summer Time’ a hit. Josué grew up with music playing siblings, he developed a love for music at a young age and soon learnt how to play the guitar. Naturally he had an ear for music and since leaving high school he has continued to pursue a career in music, since then he has not looked back. He has developed the skills to play all types of music such as Soul, Jazz, Funk,RnB, and Pop. Josue's latest EP release 'M.o.D' sees him take a new direction playing with experimental beats. He is currently working on releasing an album later this year.
