John Henderson is a collaboration between On-Ly (Joshua ‘John’ Smeltink) & Horatio Luna (Henry ‘Henderson’ Hicks) featuring the vast repertoire of jazz and the aesthetics of the trio. The pair met through a mutual admiration for jazz and house; this project drawing on influences from Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, John Coltrane & Miles Davis. John Henderson is a contribution to jazz in spirit, in literacy and in trio – through community. This special performance will feature London jazz luminary Tenderlonious, Ruby Rushton drummer Tim Carnegie and some very special guests
