Proud owner of the coolest little stage in town, Low302 is home to the Surry Hills Comedy Club which features, weekly, a selection of the best and brightest in comedy from Sydney, Australia and the world.
The brilliant Jen Carnovale will be tackling headline duties for this month.
Joining Jen will be Joe Shaffer who will be your host and MC for the evening.

Jen Carnovale is an Australian comedian from Sydney who has traveled from quaint bookstores in Canberra to Latvian kind-of scary warehouses to the Comedy Central stage to perform stand up. She has toured across the UK, Australia, all the good looking parts of Europe and tasty parts of Asia.
She has won multiple awards including Best Newcomer at Sydney Comedy Festival as well as being handpicked to perform on Comedy Central Australia.
Jen has been described as 'Brilliant' by Comedy Estonia, 'Outstanding razor-sharp slices of observational comedy" by Funny Women, and the New York Comedy Night in Paris said "She lights up the stage with her bubbling wit and sharp derision. The audience is left with no choice but to be charmed"
Joe Shaffer is a precious comedy boy, acting genius, and writer extraordinaire based in Sydney, Australia. Clubs and festivals worldwide regularly seek him out for his upbeat style and hilarious jokes. Many very important people refer to him as 'Australia's nicest boy.'
Joe originally hails from Texas where he cut his teeth as an award-winning cartoonist for his work on Slow Children at Play, improviser with National Comedy Theatre, and award nominated filmmaker with sketch troupe Mascot Wedding. Meanwhile, he performed regularly as a comedian while graduating from the University of Texas and working as a writer and editor for the Daily Texan. In 2012, Joe arrived in Australia as a humble backpacker and never left, falling in love with Australia's pristine coasts and friendly people.
Since then, Joe has gone on to headline shows in every major Australian city and numerous very cool small towns. He has performed at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival,Woodford Folk Festival, and Brisbane Fringe Festival. He has written and toured his solo shows Southern Gentleman, Bigger than Texas,and Here's Looking at You, Squid nationwide to much acclaim. He appears regularly as a panelist on ABC Radio and made several TV appearances on ABC and ABC2. Joe was selected for the prestigious Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase and Brisbane Comedy Festival's Live and Local and Born and Bread. He has performed in venues such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Town Hall,Brisbane Town Hall, and His Majesty's Theatre, as well as Sydney's Comedy Store, Melbourne's Comic's Lounge, Brisbane's Sit Down Comedy Club, Perth's Comedy Lounge, and Auckland's Classic Comedy Club. Joe hosts and produces Big Fancy Quiz monthly at Giant Dwarf Theatre in Sydney.
Joe's clever, high energy style allows him to work in all capacities from corporate MC to festival weirdness. He builds crowds to a riotous energy, slams them with positivity, and wraps it all up with powerful jokes. If there is a way to save the world through jokes, Joe is determined to find it.
