Vibrantly swinging big band music, an evening of classic jazz and more!

Come and see  Jack Attack Big Band, led by Jupiter Lawson! 

An incredible night of Big Band music with young musicians from all across Sydney, featuring students from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music; current and previous members of the Arts Unit Jazz Orchestra, and Sydney Youth Jazz Orchestra. After playing in various ensembles together and forming wonderful professional connections and friendships, we are excited to share a thrilling evening of music with you and support such an important cause.

On 16 Dec join us for an epic night of big band music, spanning from big band classics to original music from up-and-coming Australian composers, featuring killer vocals from Leah Reinhardt and Molly Owen, showcasing their jazz and theatre talents respectively.

All proceeds will be directed to Behind the Bear, a charity fundraising five-year-old Jack’s cancer treatment. Jack was like any other curious boundary-pushing three-year-old until his cancer diagnosis in May of 2023. After a long battle with stage IV neuroblastoma, Jack’s treatment in Australia has almost come to an end. To lower the possibility of a relapse, Jack must undergo treatment in the US, consisting of medication that is the standard of care overseas but are not set to be available in Australia for at least two years.
