This year Suzanne Phoenix’s 2022 ’What Does International Women’s Day Mean to Me?’ project will be launched with a diverse show featuring some of Melbourne amazing cis and trans women, and gender diverse people - artists, musicians, burlesque and queer performers, DJ’s, actors, sex workers, professors and activists. 

The lineup includes Brooke Russell, Ferri Maya, Frankie van Kan, Kat Mear, Kerryn Fields, Neda Rahmani and Sarah Carroll. Our fabulous MC will be Jessi Leigh. 

The event includes a Photographic Portrait exhibition in the Brunswick Ballroom Foyer and Brunswick Artist Bar. A subversive series of raw and honest portraits in its 11th year featuring: Angie Hart, Brooke Russell, Catherine Barrett, Emma Maye Gibson, Ferri Maya, Fiona Kitschin, Frankie van Kan, Jo Bangles, Kat Mear, Kerryn Fields, Lauren Hammel, Linda Bull, Miranda Holt, Neda Rahmani, Niveen Abdelatty, Sarah Carroll, Tamzen Hayes, Theresa Harrison, V and Vika Bull.

TICKETING INFO 

The Brunswick Artists' Bar and Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the Victorian State Government vaccination mandate. Therefore, as outlined in the Victorian Roadmap, only patrons, staff and artists who are double vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to enter the venue.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App with a valid Vaccination certificate as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
- Hand sanitiser dispensers
- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
