INDIAN SUMMER (MEL)

Some expressions fall into our everyday vernacular quite easily, while others come and go. In the words of Alicia Silverstone, sporadically. According to the internet, the expression 'Indian Summer' has been used for more than 2 centuries and in short, is a heat-wave that occurs in Autumn.

The Indian Summer we are now talking about is way more exciting that any heat-wave in Autumn. This new entry into your vocabulary is also the name of one of the hottest components of the Sweat It Out family.Already becoming festival favorites for their genre-hopping sets and besuited antics, it's summer time all year where they at.

Already with four huge releases, 2013's Foreign Formula & No Use and 2014's Aged Care and most recently the critically acclaimed Shiner, the bar has been raised very high and the stage is set.

Last year they did two out of control Australian tours and this year kicked things off at Falls Festival, Field Day and recently they were fixture on Nina Las Vegas' 'Presents' Tour. With their largest national tour about to kick off, a Splendour in the Grass show and BigSound on horizon the sky is the limit.

They've garnered support from Sinden, Afrojack, Pete Tong, Kissy Sell Out, The Magician, Motez, What So Not, Nina Las Vegas, Ta-Ku, Anna Lunoe, AC Slater, Nick Catchdubs and many more. Couple this love with spins from Flume and Salva on BBC Radio1, support from Australian staple radio stations Triple J and FBi and an inclusion in 'producer to watch' lists by Mixmag UK, MTV's and In The Mix and Indian Summer will be at the top of your most played lists very soon.

SANDBOARDS (NZ)
Joining Indian Summer are the young duo Eden Burns and Tomas Krammer, Hailing from Dunedin, they've taken inspiration from the '80s do-it-yourself indie bands of Flying Nun Records fame the town is known for and instead, are riding a wave of synth-soaked house that's gained an amazing amount of DJ support in the last 12 months first fuelled by their debut on Krystal Klear's Cold Tonic label with sexually charged club cut, Nothing But A Freak.

In the process, they also caught the eye of house royalty Bicep and found themselves being the first outsider act to release on the pair's Feel My Bicep imprint with 'Visa'.

With a sound that's significantly well crafted considering these two are only 18 and 20 years old, Sandboards' music sees them craft tracks that give a nod to the classic house era whilst keeping on foot very firmly world of modern musicality. See them on their first Australian tour.
