Phluxus2 Dance Collective are known as boundary bashing dance makers from Brisbane. As proud members of Queensland’s artistic community, Phluxus2 know it is vital for artists to collaborate, experiment and challenge practice. In its sixth year indepenDANCE offers a space for local artists to take risks and create.

IndepenDANCE challenges artists to think outside the square, shatter the square and question if the square should be a square at all. Over an intensive period of 3 weeks local independents come together, create, explore, share, shatter and collaborate. This showing is an opportunity to see these premiere works in development and support our local community.

2019 Dancers – Chris Braithwaite, Jade Brider, Maddison Campbell, Alexa Dewar, Natalia Ladyko, Nadia Milford, Erin O’Rourke, Tiana Pinnell, Lauren Sherlock, Juno Toraiwa and Chiu-Ju Wang.
