In the Pocket Fest at Kindred Bandroom: a gathering with a purpose

‘In The Pocket Fest,’ is a mini music festival and marketplace fusing community and creativity for a cause - and is not one's ordinary Sunday session. This congregation of six young minds from Melbourne (and just a dash of Brisbane), invite the mingling of emerging local talents at Yarraville’s Kindred Bandroom in the form of live performances from indie rockers Seb Szabo, The Fillmores and more, as well as an array of market stalls run by a variety of beloved, independent small local retailers.

With profits made from every ticket and merchandise purchase being donated to homeless youth prevention retail brand ‘HoMie,’ In The Pocket Fest believe no small amount of change should go overlooked. On the afternoon of August 8th, come and engage in a dynamic celebration of the city's emerging artists and entrepreneurs, partake in a growing movement that highlights the aptitude and significance of their craft in society, and importantly still, donate valuable time and financial support to the six thousand Melbourne youth spending their winter night sleeping on the streets - “a gathering with a purpose.”
