Ailsa and Lia met through the New Age Noise collective in 2018 and have since become friends and collaborators with an interest in experimental noise music. Bonding over growing up in Western Sydney, field recordings and a curiosity for the world, they have developed a unique set for Hummingbird Grotto.

NICK ASHWOOD is a guitarist, curator, composer, improviser and performer from nipaluna/Tasmanian now residing in Melbourne. His focuses have been exploring deep listening, harmonic space and the possibilities of acoustic guitar,

JIM DENLEY - wind instruments - believes that musicians in our era must engage with deep listenings and authentic soundings to be involved in responsible worldings, as multiple species, objects and energies intra-act in unique and situated orchestrations of the sonoverse. This is best achieved 'in weather' in eco-sym-phonies, where human and non-human sonic expression can be equally cogent.
They have been playing and recording together since 2017.
