We are back to play cupid again live on stage at the Brunswick Ballroom on Tuesday 30th November. Tickets purchased for the 27th July edition of Human Love Quest will be valid to attend, there will also be refunds available for those who can not attend the rescheduled event.

Human Love Quest is a live onstage dating show, that brings the golden age of television dating shows into the future! The future being now! Today! A classic trope of 3 hopefuls vying for the attention of 1 contestant. Anyone can participate, regardless of how they identify,what they’re comfortable with, or what they’re looking for out of an encounter. A perfect antidote to the isolation of 2020, and the antithesis of dating apps. Stop staring at a screen, and let us make your dream! Come true that is.

Every contestant, and hopeful, will have to fill out a brief online form that will tell us how you identify, who you would be comfortable having a date with, and what you are looking for.

We are always looking for contestants and hopefuls, and we will endeavour to make each evening as diverse as humanly possible, and if you’re looking for love we’d love to hear from you. Because we are all human, and we all deserve love.

Held at the brand new Brunswick Ballroom on Sydney Road in Brunswick, and hosted by Conor Gallacher and Xander Allan, with sound and DJ skills by The Captain, a fun night is guaranteed for all! Fortune favours the brave, so get in touch with us if you feel the swish in your dish. And of course, this show would be nothing without an audience, so you are encouraged to come along and bask in the glow of a potential love match, while enjoying some of the finest food and beverage options from the stellar kitchen at the Brunswick ballroom. All in the resplendent surrounds of a romantic mid century ballroom.

There are 4 rounds of dating each evening, and each paired up couple will receive a complimentary bottle of bubbles and a private seat downstairs at the Brunswick Artists Bar, away from prying eyes but also in a comfortable public space. There is absolutely no pressure to see each other again after the show, and we do everything we can to make everyone feel as safe and comfortable as possible while the show is in progress.

As far as we’re concerned, anyone who has the courage to get up on stage and participate in this show, is a winner already.

We have a zero tolerance policy against intolerant and anti social behaviour, and the expression of interest form that all contestants/hopefuls are required to fill out, features a vetting process that will ensure every round will feature like minded humans.

If you’re sick of the dehumanisation and apathetic repetition of scrolling through dating apps on your couch, occasionally swiping right, and eventually having a stunted conversation of small talk before never meeting up with each other, then come on down to human love quest. Putting the human back into actual human interaction since 2021.

Please note: Tables cannot be joined together on the evening. Please ensure everyone you wish to seat at your table is included in your booking to avoid being seated separately. Ideally if you can arrive together at the same time, that will help with seating you all together.

Please adhere to social distancing at all times and follow direction from venue staff.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
- Hand sanitiser dispensers
- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
