This is no mirage. Honey's back on the horizon, and its far closer than any of us expected. Planning gigs is tricky business these days, so we're declaring a State of Emergence while we can - straight outta lockdown, back into party mode.
In this deserted party scene, Honey and Moor Music are transforming the old faithful island-stage into your oasis. Forget the chills outside: We're sending The Night Cat's brand new sound & lights rig into interstellar overdrive to melt away the darkest week of the year.
Shining bright with us will be Tony Soprano Band: a one time only live improvised quartet extravaganza. After months of live improvised sets around Melbourne their sound is dialed and ready for the big stage. Featuring four fans of Tony Soprano's contribution to the state of New Jersey, they're here to eat gabagool and play dance music. They would like to recommend watching all six seasons of the Sopranos before their show at the nightcat this Friday. featuring members of Beatnik Collective, Close Counters & other jazz-doof luminaries:
Dan Rock - Electric Bass
Moses Carr - Keyboards
Christy Wozitsky Jones - Keyboards
Lucky Pereira - Drums
Returning on the decks will be a name familiar to faithful honeybees - Logan Gibson, Honey's most trusted disco advisor.
Capacity is strictly limited for obvious reasons - if you're coming and don't wanna lose, don't snooze.
Stay hydrated and let's dance.
