Melbourne - Saturday 7th June (1:00PM - 1:00AM)
Shed 14, Docklands

Sydney - Sunday 8th June (7:00PM - 3:00AM)
Home Nightclub, Darling Harbour

Illusive and Funf Touring will join forces for the launch of a unique travelling indoor dance event that is spread over 2 huge nights in Melbourne and Sydney. Each event will infuse the flavour of its mother city to recreate something familiar, yet different. Over Queen's Birthday weekend in June, HOLEANDCORNER will be taking over Home Nightclub - an event which will see the club host its most varied electronic music lineup to date. In Melbourne, HOLEANDCORNER will take over the infamous Shed 14 to pay homage to the city's well documented rave era through an event and musical program that undoubtedly compliments the venue's rich musical history.

For one night only both venues will be transformed into a unique party space to present you with an experience that is exclusively HOLEANDCORNER. Meticulously prepared, immersive d cor and amazing lighting installations will convert both venues into unrecognisable spaces to provide an extraordinary visceral experience. The finest sound systems will be employed across both venues and will be painstakingly calibrated and fine-tuned for the most spectacular sound experience in Australia. Whether house, techno, electronica or something in between, the line-up features a spectrum of the hottest cutting-edge electronic artists from across the globe, and the quality of these artists demands only the best in state-of-the-art sound production.

HOLENANDCORNER invites you to join us for the beginning of something new. Keep an open mind - expect to broaden your horizons. Now is the time to experience something different.

Stay tuned for more news and announcements very soon...

Hot Chip (DJ set) (UK)
There is something odd about Hot Chip. Some fracture between conception and actuality that makes them all the more intriguing. Unlike most of their heroes and role models, Hot Chip prefer things to be slightly off or too loud or in some way odd. For any other act this might work against them, but in Hot Chip's case this is the exact quality that has endeared them to fans all around the world. However, this Grammy and Mercury prize nominated group have their roots firmly planted in club culture and behind the decks is where they truly come alive. Let Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard (also from 2 Bears) and Al Doyle take you on a wild ride through the group's very diverse record collection. soundcloud.com/hot_chip

Matthew Dear (DJ set) (USA)
Depending on whom you ask, Matthew Dear is a DJ, a dance-music producer, an experimental pop artist, or a bandleader. He co-founded both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound, and he has had remixes commissioned by The XXCharlotte GainsbourgSpoonHot ChipThe Postal Service, and Chemical Brothers, alongside compilation mixes for the likes of Get Physical's Body Language and the fabric mix series. He maintains four aliases (AudionFalseJabberjaw, and Matthew Dear), each with its own style and distinct visual identity. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none - and he's just hitting his stride. soundcloud.com/matthewdear

Henry Saiz (ESP)
(Australian exclusive and debut performance of live show)
Under the suggestive title of 'Reality Is For Those Who Are Not Strong Enough To Confront Their Dreams', the award-winning artist from Madrid released his 2013 LP which took listeners on a sonic journey through his personal interpretation of electronica, psychedelic house, lo-fi techno, retro-futuristic pop and progressive-disco. With its distinctive analogue production technique where physical and digital intermingle, Henry manages to create a musical experience that has made him stand out from the pack and build a massive international fanbase. The stylistic variety of his 2013 album is unified in a strong and elegant live show that ranges from indie-disco to tech-house. In his new show Henry performs live with a setup of synths, controllers and guitars alongside a multi-instrumentalist playing a powerful set of electronic percussion and a VJ / vocalist with whom he collaborated on the album. Since the album's release, Henry has been touring with his amazing new live show which combines the energy of a band with the impact of a DJ set. soundcloud.com/henry-saiz

Guy J (ISR)
Israeli producer Guy J has established himself as one of the most sophisticated and emotive producers in electronic music of the last decade, with a body of work and a sphere of influence that belies relatively short time in the spotlight. Guy J's music has been championed by everyone from Hernan Cattaneo to Sasha, and John Digweedsigned him for his revered Bedrock label. His inclusion into the renowned Balance Series last year cemented Guy J's reputation as one of the world leaders in the underground dance scene. Whether it be his sensual, hypnotic take on house music, his deeply textured techno or his wondrous ambient material, his work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival. soundcloud.com/guy-j

Cosmin TRG (ROM)
Time has now proven Romanian Cosmin TRG to be a real sonic roamer. With each release he evolves, tweaks his templates and investigates new musical realms: for proof of that all you need to do is listen to the difference between his first two studio albums, both of which have come on Modeselektor's fiercely individual 50 Weapons and both of which have been critical successes. Veering from rusted, fizzing low frequency techno to more stripped back and melodically advance electronica, the Berlin based artist has now also released on labels like Warp's Bleep offshoot and Gerd Janson'sinfluential Running Back. As well as being a unique producer, Cosmin ably translates his special techno sound into the club and festival arena, too, playing major events worldwide on a constant basis. soundcloud.com/trg

Xosar (live) (USA)
Though still in the nascent stages of her production career, Xosar has already turned plenty of important heads. The American born, Netherlands based producer's beguiling sound is a mix of unnerving atmospheres and uplifting emotions, keenly bolted onto raw techno tempos. Already snapped up by super credible labels like Rush Hour andLong Island Electrical Systems (aka LIES), Xosar has also collaborated with producer extraordinaire Legowelt as XAMIGA and has more releases lined-up for both labels. Influenced by experimental sounds, horror soundtracks, black metal, lo-fi electronica, Millsian techno and Chicago house, Xosar says "my goal is to harness the energy of emotion and convey it through music to resonate within the depths of human existence, conjure emotion, and heighten consciousness levels." soundcloud.com/xosar
