It's a folk-punk gig-crawl

HOBart's Original FOlk Punk Orgy

This year we have introduced a Saturday-Sunday ticket!

This is our ninth time, so you know the drill. It's where all of your favourite; celt-punk, rogue-folk, boozy-bluegrass, anti-folk, anarcho-acoustic, (and whatever subgenre fits anywhere between 'folk' and 'punk'), acts descend on Hobart for one weekend.

The shows are within walking distance, and no shows overlap, so you can crawl your way through.

Getting this Sat-Sun pass will score you a wristband (collect at the Hobart Brewing Co gig) that you can present for free entry at each show on those days.

Here is the lineup (as always, things are subject to change)

Saturday 29/11

1-6pm at Hobart Brewing Co.

Medusa's Wake (nsw), Quinton Trembath (vic/tas), Bottom Bunk Club (nz), Scattabrain (tas), Purgatory Three (tas), Cassandra Hollow (tas).

6-9pm - the gig crawl

Tribute sets popping up along the way from HBC to Repub (details to come)

9pm-1am at The Republic Bar

Doom Scroll (usa), 8Foot Felix (vic), Whiskey Dram (vic), The Crop Tops (vic)

Sunday 30/11

2-4.30pm  at Preachers

Impeach Churchill! (vic/tas), Hannah Morrell (nz), Beth Seymour (vic)

5-9pm at The Mayfair

Rent Strike (usa), Trauma Cats (nsw), Crusty Fox and the Deadmans Undies (nz/tas), A.C Saunders (vic), Clover Love (qld). then acoustic jams from 9pm to midnight.

Accessibility - we have tried our best to select accessible venues where possible.

Saturday arvo, Hobart Brewing Co. - fully accessible entrances and toilets, some lower stimulation areas and some seated areas with line of site of the stage are likely.

Saturday night, Republic Bar - stairs at the entrance, ask staff to allow access through the rear beer garden if you prefer level access, toilets are through narrow doorways/passages which may not suit some people, some lower stimulation areas and some seated areas are likely, seated ares with line of site of the stage may be possible depending on the positioning of the crowd.

Sunday arvo, Preachers - stairs at the entrance, ask staff to allow access to an alternative access point with less stairs/inclines, toilets are through narrow doorways/passages which may not suit some people, some lower stimulation areas and some seated areas with line of site of the stage are likely.

Sunday evening, The Mayfair - two small stairs at the entrance, ask staff for assistance as lifting a wheelchair over these stairs is usually easier than setting up a ramp, venue toilets down a steep stairway however a public toilet is nearby within the same building complex which is fully accessible, some lower stimulation areas and some seated areas are likely, seated ares with line of site of the stage are likely depending on the positioning of the crowd.

Under18s - We do not have an all ages show this year, however u18s may attend HBC and Preaches if they are situated in the 'beer garden' areas and not the 'bar' areas, and are supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

*Note that both the u18 and the parent will need to purchase tickets.
