 Message from the event organiser:

This event has been cancelled. However we plan to reschedule once we can. Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult time for everyone.

Due to the number of cancellations, our refund process is taking slightly longer than usual. You don’t need to do anything; your ticket(s) will be automatically refunded back to your credit card/PayPal account and we’ll let you know when this has been done. It can take up to 3-5 business days for the funds to return to your account. If your card details have changed, please wait for Moshtix to contact you directly regarding this.

If you're unable to see the refund in your account after 5 business days, please contact your financial institution before contacting Moshtix.

Alternatively, if you purchased tickets from an outlet you will need to go back to the point of purchase.

Please understand that given the extraordinary circumstances, our Fan Support teams are incredibly busy at the moment, so we encourage you not to contact us. Instead, you can find lots of information and answers to your questions in our information portal at tixsupport.moshtix.com.au.

Heartaches and Hangovers has found a new home at the Spotted Mallard!

The bi-monthly honky tonk night beagn in the Thornbury Theatre's Velvet Room before moving to the Labour in Vain, but now has a new home and it includes Melbourne's best dancefloor for dancing at the Spotted Mallard.

Unique to this regular tonk is the supreme pairing of community radio legends Denise Hylands (Twang -Triple R FM, Saturdays 2pm - 4pm) with Dave Heard (Acid Country- PBS FM, Thursdays 3pm - 5pm) as resident DJs going back to back playing your favourite country tunes including a few by the gig’s namesake George Jones.

On Saturday 4th April the feature band will be The Stetson Family.

The Stetson Family walk the line between alt-country and Bluegrass, bringing with them a certain kind of joy with their performances that they always share with their audiences. The band recently clocked up 10 years, with three albums under their belt and a new one on the way.

With their last album ‘True North’ further establishing the band internationally, breaking out of Australia onto US Roots/Americana charts, the band garnered stellar reviews in the UK, Italy Czechoslovakia, Uruguay and everywhere in between. Nominated for Best Duo/Group at the Victorian and National Country Music Awards in 2016, they have appeared at numerous festivals around the country including Out On the Weekend (VIC), National Folk Festival (ACT), Cygnet Folk Festival (TAS), Nannup Music Festival (WA), Bangalow BBQ & Bluegrass (NSW), Gympie Muster (QLD) and received an invitation to perform in the USA at the International Bluegrass Music Association conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

As well as performing live, the band are known for their Winding River Harmony Workshop, with participants describing their experiences as ‘exhilarating’ and ‘spine-tingling’.

They blend like one of the legendary bluegrass or country families…their best material yet.” Rick Moore, American Songwriter, Los Angeles
